Sunday Gatherings

Hills GatheringsOther ServicesCity LocationHills Location

We love to have newcomers with us each week. Most Sunday mornings you will be able to meet some of our regulars over a cup of tea or coffee after the service. On Sunday nights you will most likely be able to join some of the regulars for dinner or supper in a cafe in or near the city.

We have three teaching programs each Sunday - one in the morning and one in the evening at North Terrace, and one in the Hills.  For each teaching series we prepare Bible studies for small group or personal use that accompany the talks.  At our North Terrace gatherings, these studies may be collected from our office during the week or from the doors of the church on Sundays.  For our Hills gathering, these are available on the web site or at the table in the foyer.

We meet together each Sunday at 10AM in the Aldgate Memorial Hall. We try to make everyone welcome by having something for all ages - as well as a cup of tea or coffeeand a chat after our weekly meeting. Each Sunday there are childrens' programs, from creche to young teens, and during the week there are a number of groups of adults that meet in homes throughout the hills to encourage one another from the Bible. We hope you will be able to join us soon.

Other Services at North Terrace

10:30am - Friendship Service. Holy Communion on the third Thursday of every month

A traditional Holy Communion service, using the book of Common Prayer, including hymns and traditional music. For those unable to get to the service we can arrange transport. We enjoy morning tea in the hall after the service.

Service of Prayer and Encouragement

The aim of this service is to encourage all who take part, by providing an opportunity for personal prayer during the taking of Communion. The service is a simple Communion service in the church, during which there is time and opportunity for personal prayer. You may find this personally helpful and there may be others you know who would benefit from this ministry.

After the service, we will have supper together in the CB Howard Hall.

The time of our next service of Prayer and Encouragement may be found on the News and Events page, or contact the Office directly.
